What Is the Shahadah?
“Lā ilāha illā Allāh, Muhammadun rasūl Allāh”
The Shahadah is the testimony of faith — a simple, sincere declaration that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His messenger. Saying it with belief and understanding marks one's entry into Islam. It is a beautiful, welcoming first step, and our community is here to help you understand it fully.
